Initially, we check:
Vo2 max and RMR
whole body dexa scan
Walking and running Gait
Every event we host is designed with intention, from the atmosphere we create to the way each session flows.
Start Your Next Adventure
Welcome to a space designed for ideas that move people. With a focus on quality, clarity, and connection, we're here to help you make an impact that lasts.
We start with a dexa scan to provide a computerized Body Composition Analysis.
We measure your fat, muscle, water, and bone weight. This lets us know what weight loss is feasible for you and at what speed.
We Then take a metabolic snapshot!
Your next step will be the Organic Acids Test (OAT). Each person differs in the way their bodies process nutrients. As humans, we express great genetic variability in the way we process fats, carbohydrates and proteins. The proportion of these macronutrients in our daily diet plays a key role in maintaining healthy weight, optimal energy levels, and overall wellbeing.
This test provides a metabolic snapshot of what is going on in your body. From this urine test, we will get important information on your ability process fats, carbohydrates and proteins as well as neurotransmitters, nutritional markers, glutathione status, oxalate metabolism, and an evaluation of intestinal yeast and bacteria.
The OAT Assists in Evaluating several different things that involve your ability to lose weight and have overall health and wellbeing including:
Krebs Cycle Abnormalities
Neurotransmitter Levels
Nutritional Deficiencies
Antioxidant Deficiencies
Yeast and Clostridia Overgrowth
Fatty Acid Metabolism
Oxalate Levels
the first things we do to assess how you are moving is check your walking and running gait with the Oryx motion capture system.
The knowledge we gain from this initial testing can be applied to optimize health with the goal of offering you a personalized nutrition plan based on your genetic and metabolic makeup.
People who are on the right diet for their metabolism will have more energy and feel better.
Gait is the most important of our movement patterns
It provides the platform for everything we do and how we do it
Understanding movement is about more than just measuring angles and forces
Our technology captures the essence of how movement emerges by analyzing the internal dynamics and coordination of muscle synergies.
This approach provides a deeper, more accurate understanding of movement quality and performance, allowing us to quantify movement quality, stability, and adaptability
Complexity
The gait motion is complex and has many moving parts. In fact, we think that is so complex that you never exactly repeat the same stride twice in your life. There is a self-organizing principle that underlies your gait. This idea of the dynamic systems theory is the basis for your walking and running gait analysis.
When we decompose the gait cycle, we can detect several stable and unstable patterns. We call the stable patterns “attractors”.
.
Improving a gait pattern isn’t easy
After this initial assessment we identify these stable and unstable patterns. By defining the stable elements within movement, we gain understanding with respect to the quality of it. This allows us to customize specific exercises to address your unstable movement patterns. This requires knowledge on anatomy, physiology, movement sciences and highly specific training techniques.
next, we customize specific exercises to address your unstable movement patterns and deliver them in the physiooutcomes app
We have developed a patient-centered web portal and app named PhysioOutcomes that utilizes streaming, clinician prescribed video instruction to motivate and inform patients in self-care of their orthopedic condition, focusing on the importance of a home exercise program.
Our exercises are designed to bring out your biointelligence
The self-organizing principle that underlies your gait analysis is also the basis for the exercises we recomend for you . For your gait analysis, we use Artificial Intelligence (AI). For Your exercise prescription, we aim to bring out your Innate Intelligence (II). Your body has an inner wisdom that constantly wants to conserve energy and avoid injury. We think the training of agility needs to respect this Innate Intelligence to be effective.
Your progress is monitored in the app by our health coaches
Our coaches provide structured weekly topics, practical tools and guidance as well as accountability and support
In 6-12 months, we repeat your Walking and Running Gait assessment
This allows us to evalute your progress and modify your program accordingly
